Chair, Commission on Leisure in Later Life (LLL), World Leisure Organization: organized and participated in 3 research sessions for the LLL Commission at the 11th World Leisure Congress, ChunCheon, Korea (August 28-September 5, 2010).
Initiated founding of, and serving as faculty advisor for, the Alpha Omega chapter of Phi Epsilon Kappa, a national professional fraternity representing students with an interest in kinesiology and health based in the KNH Department.
