Nazan Uludag taught middle school general science (6th-8th) and high school physics (9th-11th) at TED Zonguldak College in her home country, Turkey. She received her Ph.D. from Syracuse University in 2005 where she worked as a graduate assistant on Goals 2000: Preservice Grant, and taught numerous graduate and undergraduate level courses. She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Teacher Education, where she teaches science methods. Her area of research includes professional development of preservice teachers, action research and teacher beliefs.
