Margaret T. Sacco, was a former director of library media centers in Cleveland area schools. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Teacher Education where she teaches adolescent literature and media and storytelling. Her passion is making the world's classrooms free of censorship and promoting intellectual freedom. With the publication of Rationales for Challenged Books over 212 of her students have become nationally published authors. These rationales as well as newer ones written by her young adult literature students are sent out to schools, libraries, and interested individuals throughout the world by the National Council of Teachers of English, American Library Association, and upon request by her office.
