Ann Haley MacKenzie taught high school biology, general science and anatomy/physiology in St. Louis and Kings Mills, OH and was a former Ohio Teacher of the Year. She is currently an Associate Professor and AYA (Adolescent/Young Adult) Coordinator in the Department of Teacher Education. Her areas of research focus on inquiry, alternative assessment, and the impact of popular culture on science concept acquistion.
