Tom Kopp

Tom Kopp is a member of the Adolescent and Young Adult teacher preparation team. He received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Oswego and his doctorate (instructional design/human motivation) from Syracuse University.  After working at two New York State high schools, the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and Syracuse University, Dr. Kopp came to Miami in 1983.  He currently teaches EDT 190, a course that introduces students to the teaching profession.  Professor Kopp's research interests include the development of strategies to increase learner motivation and instructional impact.
