.Alan Frager is a professor in the Department of Teacher Education. He primarily teaches undergraduate courses in reading, including Foundations of Reading, Language and Literacy (EDT 246), Reading Instruction for Adolescents (EDT 346.A), and Reading Practicum for Middle Childhood (EDT 448.M). He has written more than 50 articles and book chapters for a wide variety of journals and texts concerned with issues in education.
