to receive funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF)
for a Statewide Systemic Initiative, Discovery, to improve mathematics
and science education. Guided by the Ohio Board of Regents and
the Ohio Department of Education and supported by the General
Assembly, Discovery currently serves as a catalyst to enhance
the teaching and learning of mathematics and science across
Ohio.
The Discovery Center at Miami University is pleased to assist
13 professional
development programs in science and mathematics for Ohio
teachers and administrators. The majority of the programs will
