Dr. Susan Mosley-Howard has been at Miami University since 1983, after completing her doctoral program at Michigan State University, and graduate-undergraduate work at The University of Michigan. Her service at Miami has included time at Counseling Services, as well as the Department of Educational Psychology. She teaches human development, learning and counseling. Her scholarship is in the area of minority mental health and the impact of educational interventions on children and adolescents.

For three years now, she has been serving the institution as Associate Vice President & Dean of Students, and is still active as a professor in the Department of Educational Psychology.  Her community service is devoted to agencies that focus on education and support for children.
