Dr. Wasburn-Moses received her Ph.D. in 2005 from Michigan State University, where she was a University Distinguished Fellow. Dr. Wasburn-Moses' research interests are in teacher education and policy. She teaches classes in learning disabilities and teaching reading.

Dr. Wasburn-Moses is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is involved in the Council for Exceptional Children's (CEC) Teacher Education Division.  Dr. Wasburn-Moses also volunteers for the Oxford Family Resource Center.
